a 1969 Earl Scruggs on rim inside :TRB 13746 . With the original Hardshell case and the rare Earl Scruggs Tuners or de- tuners if you will. They are on the second and 3rd strings and allow that Buck Trent kind of thing.
Also it has a fifth fret capo built in. Cremona brown sunburst on neck back. curly maple resonator with
worn spot in the middle from belt buckle. Curly maple rims with the same sunburst.
Clamshell tailpiece. and typed instructions in the pocket about the use of the Earl Scruggs tuners.
a warranty card that has a new address hand written in...There was a strap pin in the heel that has been removed... I'd replace it and use a simpler strap configuration if it was up to me...
Very good sounding banjo and Plays like a dream.
Some tarnishing on armrest. Otherwise Chrome is in Good shape. Well cared for .Moderate fret ware
on the 1st 5 frets. Ebony fingerboard with Mother or Pearl various inlays.
I have been told that the wooden rim inside has been changed and the flange and the tailpiece
so I have lowered my price... Thanks
