12" Stone Banjo Co. "A" scale with Balch hide head

For sale is my gorgeous, handmade, openback banjo made by Steve Gerristen of Stone Banjo Company in Pennsylvania. Serial # 23140X. It has a cherry neck with curved scoop, truss rod, Picana fretboard and peghead plate, brass Gotoh tuners, 1.35" nut width, 12" block cherry rim with walnut trim, wood tone ring, walnut dowel and walnut armrest. Upgrades I have added are a John Balch hide head and a Hawktail tailpiece. The scale is "A" or 23" from nut to bridge. I have always played tuned to "G" (or variations) and it sounds fantastic. Very comfortable, well cared for banjo in excellent condition. Comes with lightweight gig bag. Sadly selling because of progressing arthritis. Please feel free to contact with any questions.
