Deering’s most underrated Banjo. Artist Signature series, Duke of Drive, Terry Balcom , Walnut made 5 String Banjo.
Exceptional Banjo up and down the neck. Excellent shape, very slight case of ware.
One of the first batch to be produced by Deering.
Walnut is a rare wood for instruments because the wood is reserved for high priced items, hard wood to work with. Walnut is the best wood for as banjo giving it a vintage Gibson sound that a mix of Maple and Mahogany. Best of both worlds.
Amazing playing neck, Ebony fretboard, wonderful inlays, out standing sound. This is a bluegrass machine, a professional instrument used by many professional players.
Beautiful wood grain, somewhat lighter banjo bell, special rim and resonator.
Original case, banjo has been stored, carefully played, never left my house. Very little play. Small ding back head stock which was there when I purchased it. No real marks, no repair. Replaced the original bridge, I will try to include the original bridge.
