Gold Star 100 = Tokai T 1200

I am listing this as a Gold Star because Tokai made the Gold Star for export and Tokai for the Japan market, they were both made in the same shop, Tokai. This is a used 1983 Tokai T-1200R Flying Eagle. With a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard flathead tone ring, one-piece flange, three-ply maple rim, mahogany resonator with double ring, minor signs of use and scratches in places, considering its age, minimal signs of wear.neck notes true. It’s almost like new!

If you want a vintage Gold Star here is an unqiue, for the Amercian market, Tokai... almost every touring BG banjo player who went to Japan in the early 1980s was given a Tokai T-1200. Ben Eldridge, JD Crowe and others...
