6 string fretless openback banjo

This is a Mr. Rioso custom-made fretless six-string banjo made by Steve card who I believe lives in Sequim Washington now. The banjo plays fine and tunes good as one could expect with nylon strings and ebony pegs. The tone could be improved by putting on a tunable pot though. Right now it has a Remo pre-tuned 12-in pot on it.It's a nice neck and would be fairly easy to detach it from the Remo pre-tuned head. The extra piece below the neck is just to reinforce the rim and not part of the neck. It tunes easily considering I'm using nylon strings of a heavier gauge. I have it now what you would call g-tuning except down to E, the 6th. 5 th and third strings are a
ll E's, The lowest tuned string is a 45 wound
