Offered for sale is an exceptionally clean 1981 Deering Maple Blossom, one of the early instruments produced by Deering during the company’s formative years in California. For players and collectors who appreciate the history of American banjo building, these early Maple Blossoms represent a period when Greg and Janet Deering were establishing the craftsmanship and attention to detail that would eventually make Deering one of the most respected names in banjos.

This instrument has been carefully owned since new and has never been subjected to the hard touring or heavy playing that many vintage banjos have experienced. It remains in outstanding original condition with beautiful figuring in the maple, excellent finish, clean hardware, and very little visible fret wear.
