Cole's Eclipse 5000 with Doug Unger neck
Price: $4,500.00 USD
This is an unusually fine collector and player banjo. It's an 1890's Cole's Eclipse 5000 5-string banjo made by William A. Cole of Boston with a new neck with a radiused fretboard and extensive inlay work by Professor Doug Unger in about 2000. I have owned it since 2002 and it has been carefully stored and played. Playability and sound are excellent. Doug told me it was one of his favorites. I will include a hand written note and some photos of his shop that he sent me. A hard shell case is included.
