My dad is selling some of his banjos as he needs to make room.

This Iida 237 masterclone banjo sounds bright and amazing!

He recalls buying it in 1973 as he had just got a promotion.
For 50 years old it’s in amazing condition. Still has the original skin, no binding shrinkage and he’s hardly played it. Played it for a few years and picks it up occasionally but never left the house.

It has a mark on the bottom of the neck from the strap wear (not a repair) he said he had an old strap and didn’t realise it rubbed it so much.

For 50 years old you would think it’s 5 years old!

Does have a case but we think it’s in the loft so need to check as he’s kept it in a deering case from his John Hartford as that’s his main one he plays weekly so that’s always out of the case.
