It's with mixed emotions that I post my Cloverlick banjo for sale. It is a gorgeous banjo, very well made with a clear, clean tone. As most of you musicians will know, every instrument has nuanced sound, and we generally have a preference for the TYPE of sound we hope to get from an instrument. I love low, clunky tones and this banjo is bright no matter what I do with it. . Several clawhammer banjo experts have admired and complimented this banjo and I know that it will find a good home.
As of now it has a no knot tailpiece, half moon bridge, fiberskyn head and heavy gauge strings. It is maple with a rolled brass tone ring. I am also passing along the original tailpiece that came with the banjo.
