Semi Fretless Conversion

Price: €800.00 EUR ($842.36 USD)

Great looking and sounding semi-fretless. I would like to trade it to an 11" full fretted banjo, preferably 25.5 scale. I'd like to try different tone rings, so I'd be open to anything available for trade.

Last year I converted this banjo with my father. The neck, rim and rolled brass tone ring are from a Morgan Monroe banjo (Asian made). The rim and neck were painted using leather dye, the brass plate was made by hand. I replaced all the hardware with parts from Balsam Banjo Works. The no-knot tailpiece is replaced with a hawk tailpiece from Pisgah banjos. Gotoh tuners and armrest ordered at Rickard banjos. Finally I replaced the fyberskyn head with a goaty from John Balch.

Copy the link for a video of me playing the banjo.
