Gibson Mastertone Banjo RB-250 with extras
This has that classic sound you only get from a Gibson Mastertone. 1982 Gibson RB-250, really clean for being 40 years old. It has its original case and lot of extras. Super clean inside and out. gorgeous inlays as expected on the ebony fretboard. No large scratches or damage, routine play wear to be expected from an instrument of this age. No major blemishing of the hardware. Overall, the banjo was played with care, not abused.
It has Keith tuners on the G and B strings, and apparently they were put on when the banjo was new. The stops work great, and the Keith tuners are perfectly smooth. Also has spikes on the 7, 9 and 10 frets to easily capo and play open in the keys of A,B and C.
Case is in good shape, and has the original key. Also have an original Silver Eagle pick pocket banjo cradle strap. Comes some picks, and a “Mike’s banjo mute” ( it works amazing!) also have a snark tuner with a clip that mounts right to the banjo rim (also have the regular snark tuner arm it you want to clip it to the headstock).
$2500 OBO. Cash only - and I really don’t want to ship, and would prefer to meet in person. I’m in the Harrisburg, PA area, and will drive a bit to meet people if they’re further away.
