Description

This is a really nice and also hard to find archtop banjo.  This was made by Flint Hill which is a brand geared at more consumer value.  The fact this has such a nice archtop ring and gold plating, along with the binding and general design is truly amazing considering the price.  There is a lot of value here.

This has multiply maple shell with a mahogany neck and resonator.  The fretboard is ebony and there is nice white binding on each side of the neck and fretboard.  The fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern.  This banjo is a very classy piece.

The hardware is gold and all original including an archtop tone ring and a one piece flange.  This banjo is truly a nice banjo and this includes the original Flint Hill Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo is in fantastic condition.  The gold looks great.  The armrest has a bit of wear in the gold but not much and the rest looks nearly perfect.  The finish is in great shape and has been waxed to a shine.  The frets and fretboard are in really good shape and there are no spikes or 5th string capo and there never has been.  This banjo is in really good shape and the original case is also clean.

Set Up

This has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a pro quality bridge and this has new Huber strings.  The banjo not only is a high quality design that is clean, this has been set up to maximize tone and performance.  This banjo truly is a steal.
