Noel Booth A-scale Openback Banjo For Sale

This is a a great A-scale (23" scale length) banjo crafted in 2009 by Noel Booth, a well-respected banjo maker from North Carolina (oldfiddleroad.com). It has a pleasing, balanced, woody tone, plays with an easy action, and is especially well-suited for folks with shorter fingers. It is good-looking instrument with an 11" cherry rim, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard with abalone side and fretboard markers. The neck is scooped below the 17th fret. The nickel hardware includes Gotoh planetary tuners, a No-Knot tail piece, and Vega-style hooks. Inlcudes a chrome Vega-style armrest. Originally sold for $1300; asking price $1200 (plus $75 shipping and insurance or NJ pick up). Comes with a TKL hardhell case.
