Orpheum #3 Special

Price: $2,500.00 USD

A beautiful, original, 1920's Orpheum #3 Special offered for your consideration. I don't claim to be an expert but I believe this to be all original with the exception of the handcrafted bridge, Elite tailpiece and wire armrest. It has a 12 1/4" pot, 28" scale, 1 1/8" nut. Strung with Aquila nylgut strings, the maple bridge is 9/16" or so, with a raised 5th for clawhammer. With the elevated Orpheum tone ring and extended fingerboard, the action is just under 1/8" at the 12th fret. What more is there to say about this 100 year old work of art by Rettberg & Lange?

For the asking price of $2500, an old, possibly original, case in rough but servicable condition is included -- as is shipping CONUS.
