Gorgeous 2000 Stelling Master's Cross. Walnut reso and neck. Includes Fishman rare earth pickup if desired, will remove if not. Also includes Rickard 10:1 cyclone tuners if desired, will replace with older planetary tuners if not. Includes HSC in perfect condition. Includes a non original black truss rod cover.

There is a repaired crack at the base of the headstock. Best crack repair job I've ever seen. Not even a hint of finish cracking. Bravo to the fine folks at McCabe's in Los Angeles. Some moderate belt wear on the reso, hard to tell from the pictures. Missing one resonator screw. It had a neck reset a few years ago and some of the 17th and 19th fret inlay came off as a result, as you can see in the pictures. Fret wear on frets 1-5 (I don't notice it when I play but a 1-5 re-fret will definitely be needed at some point).

These usually go for 5k + so this is a rare opportunity for someone looking for a high end banjo.

This banjo has been my primary axe for over 10 years. Most beautiful sounding Stelling I've ever played. It has that beautiful and sweet Walnut sustain and power that you can expect from Stelling banjos of this level. I hate to see it go but these are tough times and I need to fund some other instruments/projects. Would love for it to go to a serious banjo lover who will play and it take care of it.
