Whyte Laydie #2, early 1920s (Sale Pending)

Price: $2,450.00 USD

Circa 1924 Whyte Laydie. The banjo has original spring loaded friction tuners and original cammed no-knot tail piece. The fretboard is ebony and the neck is straight. The Vega wire armrest is a replica. Set up with a Renaissance head and nylgut strings. The finish is in near perfect condition with some discoloration in the pearwood peghead veneer. No significant fret wear. This banjo comes with a period bump case in good condition, possibly original, though it has no Vega ID attached to it.
