1950s Kay-Silvertone “Roscoe Holcomb” Refurb

Price: $450.00 USD

This is a passion project modeled after my favorite banjo picture ever...John Cohen’s image of Roscoe Holcomb with this same model banjo. Roscoe's still had the guitar tuners and his stenciled logo was worn off. Anyhoo, this has an awesome skin head, a dowel stick and a new fingerboard with shorter scale, scoop and EVO frets. The original deep resonator had water damage and I wanted it open back like Roscoe. It sounds bloody fantastic. Waverly tuners with chunky ivoroid buttons. Neck stripped and lightly finished with varnish. Check out the pics and video. Comes in good quality HSC
