Gibson arch top conversion, 1949 RB-100 pot w/double bound reso

Price: $1,775.00 USD

Serial # 3077-xx. According to the Banjophiles web site it is likely a 1949. Pot seems all original w/exception of grooved tension hoop, which I think(?) should be notched. Has the rarer double bound reso and a dark beautiful rich sunburst that some of these early models sometimes have (if you get lucky!). Don't know who made the neck, but it's really nice.

I've had a few 4 hole Gibbie archtop and this one has been my favorite because it has a sweeter tone than the rest. NOHSC. Plays great.
