"THE" Slingerland Maybell Pot with a Grafted (mostly) 60s Harmony Neck

Price: $306.00 USD

The pot that we all love to love with a neck that most find too skinny. Whoever grafted (cobbled) that neck onto the pot made it work, but just barely. But... the dang thing sounds great! That tone ring in the Maybells is superb, as you know. The tuners all work okay, the action is a little high at the 22nd but certainly playable up to the 7th. All the hardware on the pot is original except for the tailpiece. It is priced like a used cheapy Goodtime and would blow a lot of banjos away. In essence you are buying a great pot, good tuners, and getting a free neck. It will need a little tweaking and it won't have a case but I will pack it well.
