Unmarked Cello Banjo

Price: $1,500.00 USD

For sale is an unmarked cello banjo from the 1920s-1930s. All the hooks and nuts have been replaced with modern parts, the tailpiece is a replica, and it was at some point refretted with larger frets (making it easier to play). Otherwise it is original. It's fully functional but does show playwear and evidence of a formerly dry fingerboard. It's likely of English origin. 18 inch head. Heavy wood rim spun with aluminum. Original cello banjos are very rare. I'll post photos soon.
