1988 Richelieu Desert Rose
Price: $2,500.00 USD
C.C. Richelieu began building banjos in the Mid-West in the early '70s. Most of his clientele were of the crowds of players who played Dixieland, some who even formed marauding groups called Banjo Bands.
He made very few 5-strings. This deluxe gold-plated, engraved “Desert Rose” model arch top with “Hearts & Flowers” fretboard inlay, kicks you-know-what with its power and ringing tone! All gold plated, including the 2 Keith-Bump tuners. Its engraved armrest attests to the instrument once having been played by the "Pecos Kid".
C.C. passed away in 2003, but his legend lives on in this fine banjo. Own a piece of banjo history with this excellent instrument.. stk#5017
