Crafters of Tennessee was a small-batch American banjo maker founded by Mark Taylor in Tennessee, producing handmade professional-grade flathead banjos from the 1970s until approximately 2012.

Mark Taylor is the son of Tut Taylor, the internationally renowned vintage instrument collector and dobro artist.This banjo features a Tennessee 20 flathead tone rings, premium curly maple, and craftsmanship that rivals banjos costing significantly more. Retail price when new was $3,750. Serial Number #108202 making it made in 2010. This banjo features absolutely stunning intricate mother of pearl inlays, ebony fingerboard and spectacular headstock inlay of
Mother of pearl and abalone. Attention to detail is unbelievable. Comes with attached Cheat a Key D- tuners with matching buttons. Has been upgraded with Rickard Cyclone 10:1 that are amazing. The tone of this banjo is nothing short of stunning. It is a first class professional bluegrass Banjo and whoever winds up with it will be very pleased. It'll hold its own against any banjo out there. There are a few very light scratches on the back of the resonator that won’t show up in photos. It is 100% original except for tuners and in excellent condition with no issues whatsoever. Original tuners, extra RR spikes, instruction sheet, original truss rod cover, extra banjo string sets, strap and case key are included.OHSC Alligator Pattern case in perfect condition with key. Will ship if needed to CONUS. Can meet half way if distance is reasonable. I'm getting too old and developing arthritis to continue playing, plus it's pretty heavy.
