1977 Stelling Staghorn - Archtop

Price: $7,250.00 USD

One of the best sounding and most pristine condition Stelling Staghorns I've ever had. I have a real fondness for the early Stellings and this one has particularly stunning woods and my favorite rim - the thick early block rim with the relatively lesser seen archtop tonering. At some point in its lifespan, the banjo was serviced by Geoff and given the now standard compensated nut. The banjo has a new Stelling head and overall, the banjo looks brand new (some barely discernible finish wear at the handstop where a capo was clearly stored…and a very discrete filled single hole from a sliding capo(

The case is 100% original and looks like it left Stelling yesterday.

It plays and sounds fantastic with wonderful low action.
