Selling a beautiful 1998 Gold Tone OB-250 Orange Blossom 5-string resonator banjo. I am the original owner and purchased this instrument brand new in the late 1990s. Due to health reasons (essential tremors), I can no longer play and want this to go to a serious musician who will appreciate it. It has been gently played, meticulously cared for, and stored flat inside its hard case in a climate-controlled, smoke-free home for its entire life. Verified Details & Condition: Proven History: Clear, original oval label inside the back of the resonator reads: "Gold Tone - Handcrafted in the U.S.A. - Model OB-250 - Serial No. 980343". Cosmetics: The flamed wood grain on the back of the resonator is absolutely stunning. The nickel hardware, armrest, and tailpiece are clean, bright, and polished. Neck & Fretboard: Features a bound fretboard with classic Mother-of-Pearl Hearts & Flowers inlays. The neck and headstock are in beautiful shape with zero fret wear issues.
