The Mulheron Open-back 12" banjo is a high-quality one of a kind instrument. Handmade in North Carolina, the banjo uses a dobson tone ring paired with a brass ring much like a dobson special. I had this custom made in 2025, but due to changing life circumstances I need to downsize my instrument collection. My loss is your gain. These banjos are absolutely stunning in look, feel, tone, and playability. No other banjo on the market produces the overall vibe of a Mulheron. 12” pot, 25.5” neck, 26 brackets, scoop at the 15th fret, unique tone damper for adjusting overtones and head resonance.
