Carolina Banjo Company Heirloom 12"
Price: $3,750.00 USD
Carolina Banjo Company Heirloom 12" short scale banjo with rolled brass tone ring, built by Ryan Navey.
Beautiful figured myrtle wood salvaged from an old barn in Oregon, with ebony trim and burl walnut overlay on the headstock. Rolled brass tone ring, 25.5" short scale, French polished shellac varnish, and skin head.
Recently professionally set up with nylon strings by Ryan Navey himself (setup done a few months ago). Includes an extra bridge in the case for steel strings, so it’s ready for either nylon or steel setup. Comes with a like-new Reunion Blues Expedition gig bag (purchased for $279 a few months ago).
This is a very nice example of Ryan’s work — excellent condition and plays beautifully with a clear, deep tone. Extremely comfortable and lightweight with no exposed hardware.
