Dobson "MatchlessBanjo." All Original Parts, No Damage, #408

Price: $500.00 USD

The severe peghead set back makes one think that this is an early Geo.Clifton Dobson banjo. The 10 7/8ths inch pot is double spun and the neck angle is zero. The neck is straight, the frets show a little wear, the fret markers are small dots, the heel is big and round, and I can't make out what was on the 'scratch' plate. That's an H.C.Dobson tailpiece, all the brackets and shoes are original, the pegs are not, especially the Grover 5th peg.
Yep, a bit of a project, but good bones to start with.
The price is cheap and firm, no trades, please. I'm in the 'eine bahn strasse' mode.

Oh, forgot, this banjo is not only for sale to persons with names starting with "N" or "Z"
