Beautiful Imperial walnut banjo with block rim and two piece flange. Bella Voce style inlays on the fretboard. Neck has a wonderful full profile. Frets are in great shape with lots of life remaining. There is a nick on the back of the peg head and a finish flaw on the heel of the neck. Banjo plays nicely and has a fundamentally bright tone. Metal work is bright with some patina in places. Two different brands of tuners on the peg head but they all work smoothly. Hard case with “art work” from previous owner. A great, ready to play, American made banjo with classic inlays, beautiful walnut wood, ample volume and great tone. 48 hour approval period.
