1925 Gibson TB-3

Price: $1,950.00 USD

This TB-3 is probably as cheap as you can get into the prewar Mastertone club. This instrument has been largely refinished and is missing three of the four small resonator attachment bolts and two of the bushings for the two tab tuners. The armrest is original but has had some repairs done to it. The mastertone label has been significantly damaged, but thankfully the “I”s line up where thy are supposed to in “workmanship” and “will”. There is a spot of delamination in the rim and one in the interior of the resonator. For further use as a tenor, it may benefit from a neck set and a refret.

So yes, it’s kind of messy, but it has another 101 years left in it in the right hands.

Ships in the original hardshell case.

Please not I have a 1926 TB-3 with a conversion neck for sale in these classifieds if you are interested in this sort of thing.

Thanks for looking and please reach out with any questions.
