Tokai T-450R (Gold Star) 1980 + Video

Price: €700.00 EUR ($830.97 USD)

Tokai T-450R banjo made in Japan 1980 in the same factory as the vintage Gold Stars. Gibson copy with a mahogany neck, reminiscent of the Style-00 series in terms of the peghead. It is a hoop banjo with decent power and clarity. The wood grain of the resonator veneer is particularly beautiful.

There are some age-related marks such as patina on the metal parts and a few small scratches in the finish, but these do not affect the overall appearance. On the contrary: for its age, the banjo is in very good condition.

The banjo has been cleaned and restored, the saddle and bridge have been adjusted for optimal string action, the skin has been tuned, and new strings have been fitted.

If you are interested in an affordable intermediate level instrument or are looking for a slightly lighter second instrument, you will find what you are looking for here.
