1936 Gibson Style 1 Conversion in Chrome w/Video
Price: $5,250.00 USD
This Gibson Style 1 left the factory as a tenor around 1936 with F.O.N. 781-2. At some point years ago the hardware was chrome plated. The tension hoop is a 5-string and may or may not be prewar but the patina matches the rest of the hardware. The tailpiece is a modern Presto and the banjo has been fitted with a Dannick 20-hole tone ring. The mahogany neck was made by Mark Simon of Mandolin Bro's in 1977 with a slight "v" profile that feels great. The neck has a fresh fret dress and new 5th string pip from Huber Banjos.
