Price reduced! Trujo Style A plectrum banjo restored by Renée Karnes!

Price: $1,750.00 USD

This is a 1930s Trujo Style A plectrum banjo, professionally restored by renowned banjo luthier Renée Karnes.

Unlike many Trujos in poor condition that tend to sound dull or unfocused, this one has a bright, clear tone with excellent playability.

The rim and hoop bear stamps that appear to be from the Gibson factory of that era. Most parts are original, though to the best of my knowledge, the tailpiece and the 1st string tuning peg are not. The finish and possibly some other cosmetic elements were likely renewed during Renée’s restoration.

While there are some marks and wear from use, they do not affect playability and do not noticeably compromise the instrument’s appearance.

Comes with a non-original, hard gigbag case.
