Here's a chance to own a Clareen banjo for a lot less than the cost of having one made and shipped all the way from Ireland. I have a 2023 Clareen Special 17-fret, 21" scale tenor banjo for sale. Note: this was purchased left-handed but since tenor banjos are symmetrical it could easily be played right handed with new strings and a new bridge, and new nut slots. The tuners have been upgraded to 16:1 gear ratio "guitar style" tuners. The banjo is in excellent condition but I did make markings on the head to mark bridge position. USA buyer preferred. I will include a free McNeela gig bag!

Brass archtop tone ring.
Carbon fiber non-adjustable truss rods embedded in neck.

Dark tortoise binding around the edge of the resonator.
