For sale, a Deering Goodtime Special 5-string banjo and hard case. I purchased this used from its original owner via the Banjohangout classifieds!

I have enjoyed it greatly, but have made the fatal error of buying another banjo at an estate sale and can't justify owning two. These go for $1,150 new without a case and the case I'm selling it with is worth at least another $150.

It plays great and looks very good. The original banjo head has scuffs and a wear mark where the original owner glued down a training device to keep his pinky finger in place. The wear is cosmetic only and does not impact the quality of sound, which is bright and punchy.

I'll take cash if you're in the Boston area and can meet up nearby or Venmo/Paypal + shipping costs for any interested parties outside the Boston area.
