Great modern Kel Kroydon modeled on a Gibson EES. Hand built by Robin Smith, Heartland Banjos for AMB. I have an ESS and a Granada and the build quality and quality of components is absolutely on par with them. It has a gold plated Kulesh tone ring, as per the original owner, which sounds great. It is well set up and the playability is great. The previous owner had a fingerboard inlay replaced to have his father’s name inlaid. With these Robin Smith hand built banjos available why would anyone buy a Chinese mass produced banjo for the same money?
