Gotta pay the piper (aka the taxman) and selling this beautiful Carolina Banjo Company walnut 12" truly hurts. I think Ryan builds some of the nicest, cleverest and best playing/sounding banjos out there. This one is a beautiful 12" banjo with a beveled wooden tonering - it will accept a Dobson ring as a slip fit without alteration if you decide you want that tone, but I don't know why you would! This banjo sounds fantastic and very powerful with steel or nylon. This banjo has the following 'extras' under Ryan's pricing scheme: scoop carving, backstrap carving. and a little carving behind the 5th string. It also has genuine ebony buttons on the Gotoh tuners.
