Bluegrass banjo by ODE,
according to the banjo maker a so-called “factory sweep”, i.e. a banjo made from various parts of the ODE workshop, probably made shortly before the Baldwin production facilities closed in December 1980.

Style D neck made of Brazilian rosewood (CITES marketing certificate available!) with 2 original Keith tuners.
Original hardware, no-hole flathead tonering and rim without serial number, resonator possibly style C?
New 11” Renaissance head and new strings. Incl. used hard case.

The banjo plays and sounds wonderful with typical ODE sound.
Nut and some frets could be optimized / renewed by the banjo maker. There is a restoration on the resonator and neck (see photos). Signs of use and age.

Due to the missing serial number and the combination of parts as well as the 2 repair spots, a really reasonable price for a super heavy, crisp bluegrass instrument!
