SOLD 1972 Gibson RB-250 project

I sure love crusty banjo shaped objects that say Gibson on them, so there is a lot I like here.

However, I don’t need any more projects and this is one. Here’s what this crusty critter needs needs:

•A bath
•G and B string tuners
• a new head
• a new rim (really really bad delamination here)
• one resonator thumbscrews and wall lug

Also, I have noticed a crack in the tube part of the flange and a crack in the fingerboard. There are cracks in the resonator binding but it’s not crumbling like many of these do.

All that being said, if you have a structurally solid 70s/80s Style 250 rim for sale, I would be interested in buying it. Please message me if you do and maybe I’ll make this thing my project after all.

Does not have a case. Will be packed very securely. I may have a cardboard case I could throw in or an extra hard shell one for an additional change.
