English fretless banjo 1870s

Price: $600.00 USD

After doing the research, I believe this is an R.A Sanders English made banjo from the late 1800s. It is a five-string and always was a five-string. The extra two holes in the peghead are for the strap which was a woven cord that ran through those two holes when I got the banjo. It's in very good condition, as you can see from the photos. there is one tiny piece of inlay in the pot missing but it's pretty small (under the dowel stick extension) I put a new head on the banjo and fitted the pegs so they would work more smoothly. Everything is working good now and it sounds good.
