Ome Mira 11” Openback Banjo with OHC

Price: $2,999.00 USD

This OME Mira was built in 2016 in Boulder, Colorado. It's in excellent structural and cosmetic condition.
This is a sweet sounding banjo, with a round, full sound and lots of projection…the original Mylar head was replaced with a real calf skin head. The neck is black walnut and it has radiused ebony fretboard. It has railroad spikes at the 7th and 9th frets…the scale length is 25.5”…the nut is a slightly wider 1.34".. It's fitted with a Vintage brass tone ring fitted to a 2-ply solid maple rim. The OME Vintage tone ring has a large contact surface between the brass ring and the maple rim which produces a clear and responsive tone. It's about 30% heavier than the rolled brass ring. Includes the original hardshell case...no trades.. I donate to the Hangout… Thanks for looking
