Banjo Repairperson's Challenge-Kool Import Needs Everything!

Here's one to practice your 'art' on. The neck has a big forward bow, the first dozen frets are filed, the neck angle to the pot is slightly off and, some of the 'covering' is loose on the resonator. But...the truss rod nut is loose (so the adjustment should work after the neck press), the head is good, as are the tuners, all the original hardware is there (dirty), there are holes already drilled for D-tuners, and, best of all(?), the pickup works.
Yes, I agree, the pattern on the reso is er,um, distinctive. Plus, there is a plaque near the heel that confirms that it is a "High Quality Banjo"! Who would argue with that?
Anyway, have fun with it and learn repair.
