Deering Goodtime Classic open back
Price: $450.00 USD
I believe this is called a Goodtime Classic, which they quit making a few years ago. Itís my sonís and since heís not a member here, he asked me to try to sell it. Itís in very good condition, so Iím thinking he didnít play it much. No telling its age because Deering doesnít put serial numbers on these, but itís at least a few years old. I kinda think the Artisan series displaced this model, but Iím no expert on Goodtime banjos.
It has spikes at the 5th, 7th, 9th and 10th frets. If it ever had a Goodtime bag, it doesnít anymore. This gig bag, which seems pretty good, is called a Superior.
I play older Vega open backs, so Iím not familiar with 21st century banjos. This seems like a student banjo and pretty good at this price. Iím not smart enough to make a video of me playing it, as I was born B.C. (before computers) and donít know such things.
