1929 Vega Vegaphone Professional

A great playing and sounding Vegaphone at an attractive price. This one has a 10-7/8” rim with a Tubaphone tonering. It has a beautifully figured maple neck and a 19” ebony fretboard.

This banjo has a well repaired crack at the headstock. The Tuners are modern Gotohs and the tailpiece is a modern Presto reproduction. Do to a defective resonator mounting bracket that came on it, the resonator couldn’t be effectively affixed so it’s an openback now.
