Weaver Banjo Circa 1882

Price: $999.99 USD

Here's an early, large pot Weaver with a fretted metal fingerboard. I've seen two other Weavers like this with identically-fretted metal fingerboards. Needless to say, they are quite rare. The head is 12" wide and the scale is quite long. The neck is set with zero back angle, so the action is excellent
for stroke style or clawhammer playing using a period 1/2" bridge. Original finish. Original characteristic metal strip on the dowel. Original tailpiece. The 5th string pip was once moved, so there's a small extra hole. I moved it back to the original position. Ships in a hard case better than the one pictured.
