70's GTR Banjo (SOLD PENDING PAYMENT)

Price: $575.00 USD

These were Japanese Masterclone offered from 1974 through approximately 1978. They were made Iida for GTR. GTR stands for George Gruhn, Tut Taylor and Randy Wood, three dealers/builders in the Nashville scene in the mid 70's. There are only approximately 200 of them in existence. They are considered one of the best banjos for under $1,000. I have used this as a backup banjo but sounds and plays well enough to play anywhere. Everything is 100% playable with nothing needed. Hardshell case comes with it.
