Maxitone Banjo-Ukulele (1930's?)

Price: $350.00 USD

A honking good player.

7" head, ~13" scale.
I think the metal pot and resonator are mostly, if not entirely, of nickel-plated brass. Double-walled archtop.
The neck has been stripped of its old paint, dyed and tung-oiled. Not too skinny-- a bit over 1-3/8" wide at the nut.
Frets leveled and recrowned.
New skin head w. square flesh hoop.

It has been played a lot. There are lots of little dings and surface scratches on the resonator, and a bit of a bend in the flange at the tailpiece, but everything is real solid and fits together just fine. Minor wear in the "fingerboard" at the first 3 fret positions.

No case.
