Triple X Professional five-string conversion

Price: $1,050.00 USD

For sale, a beautiful Triple X five string conversion. The Triple X banjos were made in the mid-1920's by William Lange, Co., who also made the Orpheum and Paramount banjos. You can see that heritage in the resonator design, and the tailpiece, which is clearly a Paramount with some extra drilled holes. The Triple X banjos have a very interesting tone ring and tone tube design, which you can see in the pictures, with an 11" head. It sounds great! This banjo was originally a 4-string Professional, and has a gorgeous conversion neck made by Leo Coulson, with a 26 1/4" scale and 1 1/4" nut width. Plays perfectly, and is in excellent condition, very little fret wear. Includes a hard case.
